Posted — UpdatedJasmond Jevon “Catfish” Rogers, 28, of 1309 Tucker Street, is named in a warrant charging him with murder in the death of Quincy Bowens, 15, of Chapel Hill, police said.
Bowens died at Duke University Hospital shortly after he was shot while standing on the porch of his aunt's apartment at 2427-B S. Roxboro St. Family members said he pushed his 2-year-old niece into the apartment when the shooting began, but could not get out of the way himself.

Police did not disclose what led them to Rogers. The night of the shooting they had said they were looking for a black man with braids who had been seen driving away in a gold Saturn.
Anyone with information on Rogers’ whereabouts should call Durham police at 919-560-4440 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.
