RALEIGH, N.C. — Starting at 8 a.m. Friday, Wake County sheriff's deputies will be at the In and Out Food Mart to hand out fliers. They are hoping to talk with anyone who was traveling in the area who can help them track down a killer.

Last Friday, a customer found 43-year-old Sam Haj-Hussein shot and killed inside the store on Creech Road. Customers said Haj-Hussein was the store clerk who provided service with a smile.

"It's really kind of like, upsetting, because we see this man on a daily routine seeing him not in the store," customer Yvonne Hunt. "It's just like a tragedy just like somebody you know in the family."

"I'm shocked, I mean, how could somebody just do this? I mean he's got a wife, kids, young kids," said Mike Ooda, Haj-Hussein's friend.

Detectives are also looking for Haj-Hussein's minivan, a blue 1992 Dodge Caravan with peeling paint on the roof and North Carolina license tag
