iEntertainment Launches Division Focused on Mobile Gaming

CARY,N.C. — iEntertainment

is launching a new division focused on developing massively multiplayer network games to the mobile phone market.

iMagic Mobile

will focus on games and the technology to support simultaneous play across mobile devices, iEntertainment said.

The Cary-based gaming company is best known for such titles as WarBirds TotalSims, an online game featuring aerial combat.

IMagic Mobile said its first titles would be available in the near future.

"iEntertainment Network has always focused it efforts on massively multiplayer video gaming," said J.W. "Wild Bill" Stealey, chief executive officer of iEntertainment. "We even own an important patent to enable massively multiplayer gaming. We will take this same focus, some important new patents, and new products to the mobile market."
