CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. — A Chatham County attorney faces numerous charges related to a child pornography sting.
Bradley Lamb, of Holly Ridge Road near Pittsboro, was arrested after he allegedly solicited a child over the Internet, investigators said.
Authorities said Lamb admitted that he chatted with a person he thought was a 14-year-old boy. In actuality, he was chatting with an undercover police officer in Florida, police said.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Chatham County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at Lamb's home Thursday and seized his computer.
Lamb is in the Chatham County jail under a $500,000 secured bond. His court date is scheduled for April 25.
