RALEIGH, N.C. — No charge are expected to be filed in connection with a three-car crash involving a Raleigh police officer on Wednesday.

Raleigh police said the officer hit another car while trying to make a left turn at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Spring Forest Road on Wednesday. The cruiser's lights and siren were on.

All three cars were damaged, but it appeared that the police car, as well as a silver Infiiniti sustained the most damage. The front of each were crushed in; the rear window of the police care was also shattered.

Debris from the crash hit two other cars.

Two people, including the officer were taken to the hospital. Their conditions, however, were not immediately known.
