Morehead Planetarium To Benefit From NASA Grant

NASA is giving the planetarium a $1.5 million grant to upgrade its space show with digital video and audio. A new hands-on exhibit for children is also in the works.

"We are delighted with Congressman [David] Price's leadership in securing fundingfor this important science education opportunity for North Carolina'schildren. We are very grateful to Congressman Price for his ongoing supportof the University of North Carolina," said UNC Chancellor James Moesser.

North Carolina State University will benefit from a NASA grant as well to continue studying gravity's effect on living organisms.
