RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man could face involuntary manslaughter charges for an accident that killed a Raleigh woman.
Police said Christopher Martinez ran a red light and slammed into a car driven by Rhonda McManigal at about 10 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Chapanoke Road and Wilmington Street.
McManigal, 37, died at the scene. Martinez, 25, was taken to WakeMed, where the extent of his injuries were unknown.
Two other cars had minor damages as a result of the accident.
