Stewart Unveils Homes
Tim Pittman of KB Homes said the water meters were being installed in the Twin Lakes community Thursday and the water had to be shut off.
While the water was shut off, a person entered the house and turned on a bathtub faucet on the second floor, but did not turn it off.
When the water came back on, the tub overflowed, causing water damage to the floors, carpet and walls on the second floor.
Some of the furniture, home accessories and items Stewart made for the house were removed from the house so that repairs could be made. However, Pittman said that items were not damaged.
The model home is closed while it is being repaired.
