"We come out in the morning to pick up beer bottles, liquor bottles, beer cans and cigarettes and the remains of joints," said homeowner Kenyann Stanford.
The Supper Clubb, at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Spring Forest Road, is about a half-mile away from the subdivision.
Still, residents say that's where the weekend crowd parks. And when the club closes, the party comes back to Fox Run and wakes up everyone.
"It's disruptive in the middle of the night, and sometimes frightening," Stanford said. "There are lots of people on the street in the middle of the night."
The club's owner, Cheyenne McDougald, said her patrons park where there is a space. She said that with limited parking at the club, she tried to rent spots in an adjacent strip mall, but the mall wouldn't allow it.
A spokesman for the strip mall said no-parking signs for Supper Clubb customers went up after constant problems.
Frustrated that the problems have spilled into their neighborhood, Fox Run residents have turned to Raleigh city leaders for help.
"This is an inconvenience they should not have to tolerate," said Raleigh Councilwoman Jessie Taliaferro.
The city is now considering no-parking-anytime signs in Fox Run. They are already posted on another nearby street because of overflow parking.
"What that tells me is this particular place of business is not the right location for this business to be," Taliaferro said. "They need to be in a place where they have ample parking. They have picked the wrong location for this type of business and would prefer them find a place that actually suits their needs with a large parking lot."
Right now, Fox Run is where the parking is. There's even a shuttle that takes customers from the neighborhood to the Supper Clubb.
The proposed signs would allow police to ticket cars -- something they don't have the authority to do right now.
The Supper Clubb is well-known to police and to the city. In the last seven months, police have responded to more than 140 calls at the club that range from shootings to loud noise. Police say they have been trying to actively address the issues.
The city may even file a public-nuisance lawsuit to try to get the club shut down.
Several years ago, the Fox Run neighborhood had a different parking problem when students from nearby Millbrook High School were parking along the streets all day long. The neighborhood was successful in getting limited two-hour parking signs posted, but they address only daytime hours.
