RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK — One of the Triangle's biggest employers opened its door to some young recruits Thursday.
Nearly 1,000 children took part in"Take Your Children To Work Day"at IBM.
Big Blue had plenty of activities to make the day more like a high-tech camp.
"Employees get excited. The kids want to come and see where Mommy and Daddy work. So it all works up well and it builds up to the day, and we had a great turnout today again," said IBM employee Allan Younger.
The event coincided with Earth Week, so children also learned about saving the environment.
