Wilson Murder Suspect Commits Suicide at Central Prison

RALEIGH — A Wilson County manaccused of killing two womenkilled himself Thursday behind bars.

Guards found Keith Moore, 40, hanging inside a cell in Central Prison late in the afternoon. Moore was charged with killing his ex-wife and former girlfriend as well as shooting his toddler son in September.

State agents are investigating the death. It was the third suicide at Central Prison this year. Officials have called a news conference for Friday afternoon.

A Johnston County bank robbery suspect committed suicide at Central Prison on Monday. Curtis Lee Woodall, 31, was found hanging in a bathroom stall.
