FAYETTEVILLE — A lot of holiday tables will not be bare this year, thanks to people in Fayetteville.
A collection station was set up Saturday to sort through tons of food collected over the last several weeks. Canned goods and other non-perishable items kept coming in, which kept volunteers very busy.
"This will mean a lot to all the families who go to the various agencies that we serve," says Sue Lochamy of the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Food banks around the area will benefit from Saturday's drive.
