WILSON — A home in Wilson was the scene of a fatal shooting over the weekend.
Police say 27-year-old Freddie Worsley shot his 22-year-old wife, Jacqueline, several times and shot their 2-year-old son in the face.
Worsley, a security officer for Barton College, went to the sheriff's office and bought a gun permit. He then pawned his television and microwave to buy another pistol and killed himself.
The shootings occurred at an apartment on Atlantic Street.
So far, there has been no word on a motive.
