Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Former Raleigh Mayor Paul Coble is running for office again.

Coble is running for a seat on the Wake County Board of Commissioners being vacated by Herb Council. If Coble wins the Republican primary, he'll likely face Democrat Rodger Koopman.

In another election move, Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison filed for re-election Thursday.
