Lawyers for "Survivor" Contestant Looking to Settle Greensboro Fraud Charges

GREENSBORO (AP) — A lawyer for "Survivor" star Kelly Wiglesworth is working with the Guilford County D.A. to try to settle her 1995 credit card fraud charges.

District Attorney Jim Kimel confirmed yesterday that Wiglesworth lawyer Mike Schlosser had talked to one of his assistants.

The former Page High School student and runner-up for the one (M) million dollar prize on the CBS show is wanted by Greensboro police on a five-year-old warrant for using a stolen credit card.

Her lawyer says he wants to get the charges dismissed, but that the sheriff's department will serve the warrants on her. the lawyer says he's talking to the prosecutors about whether she will have to appear in court.
