A 14-year-old boy and two 15-year-old boys face charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, and possession of a weapon of mass destruction.
One of the 15-year-olds already was in custody at a Durham youth home. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill for allegedly shooting at family members.
The two other teens, who were not identified because they are juveniles, will be taken into custody once a petition for their detention is obtained.
Charges stem from a July 28th incident involving four youngsters who plotted to shoot one another in the legs as part of a ``promotion ceremony'' to enhance their gang status.
