4 Charged in Fatal Shooting of Fayetteville Student

FAYETTEVILLE — Four people have been arrested following a party that turned deadly for a Fayetteville State University student early Sunday morning.

Deputies say Tobias Wayne Parker was found shot to death at 2:45 a.m. in the back yard of a home at 6313 Chagrin Court.

Investigators say a big party was going on at the house when the shooting took place.

Andre Michael Jones has been charged with first degree murder and two drug charges. Martonias Terrelle Crump, Kenneth Dominique Monroe and Charles Edward Wilson each have been charged with one count of accessory after the fact, and two drug charges.

Deputies say none of the suspects attend Fayetteville State University.

The student who rents the home where the shooting happened will not be charged.

Investigators say a fight broke out during the party, one person allegedly went to a car to get a gun, brought it back, and shot Parker

The medical examiner's office in Chapel Hill is conducting an autopsy.

The 21-year-old victim was from Raeford.
