"We have decided to offer to anyone that has any information about this child if it leads to the safe, healthy return of C.J., we'll grant them immunity from prosecution for his abduction," says Wake County District Attorney Colon Willoughby.
Willoughby also says the immunity deal will extend to Derrick Glover, who was charged with kidnapping C.J. Glover has refused to cooperate with authorities up to this point.
Clarence Wilkerson, C.J.'s father, is hoping for the best.
"This has been a month and almost a week," Clarence says. "He has had no contact with his sisters, his mother, his father, his grandparents or anyone." For C.J.'s family, cards and well wishes that cover the living room table and walls only slightly dull the pain of his uncertain whereabouts. -->
"I'm going to continue to hang in until I find my son," says Tracie Gill, C.J.'s mother. "It's been hard. I can't sleep, and I can't eat."
Glover will learn of the immunity deal on Friday.
Meanwhile, authorities also have plans to extend theirsearchthroughout the entire city.
