The trial of Daniel Andre Green was halted Wednesday when the man accused of killing Michael Jordan's father said he felt sick.
Green is a Muslim and has been fasting for the holy season Ramadan. His mother said that Green has been eating two light meals a day.
Defense attorney Angus Thompson told the judge that during a break, Green grabbed his chest and complained that his chest and stomach hurt.
An ambulance was called for Green, but he refused to be taken to the hospital. Instead, he was taken back to jail, where he will be examined.
The trial will resume at 9:30 a.m. Thursday
