GARNER — Frederick Willis, 32, has been missing since Thursday. Today his car was found wrecked in Pamlico County. The car's driver, Jesse O'Neal Jones, has been charged with larceny of a vehicle. Jones denies knowledge of Willis' whereabouts.

Garner police are calling Willis' disappearance a case of missing person in danger. Willis, a security guard for Glaxo-Wellcome, moved with his family from New York to Garner in July.

Jones, who also lives in Garner, was found in Willis' '93 Mazda Protege.

Willis was last seen at 4 p.m. Thursday at his home.

He is described as 6'3", 268 pounds. He is African-American.

Anyone with information on Willis' disappearance or current whereabouts is asked to call the Garner Police Department at 919-772-8810
