SPRING LAKE — July 31, 1996 - 5:50 p.m. EDT
A police chase in Cumberland County ended in a crash late Tuesday night.
Police have not said why the officer began chasing the car, but officers say it appears the driver of the car had been drinking.
Officers took the driver away from the crash site in handcuffs. An injured passenger was taken to a local hospital
