Second Body Found in Harris Lake

Police have recovered a second body from Harris Lake in Chatham County. They believe it to be the body of a 13-year-old drowning victim.

Emergency crews have been at the lake since Friday when a fisherman found a 4-year-old boy alone in a drifting boat. On Saturday, another fisherman found the body of the young boy's father floating in the lake.

Police say they believe the man had gone into the water to help his 13-year-old nephew and both of them drowned.

The 4-year-old boy is doing well
