Concert to Benefit Zebulon Tornado Victims

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — June 6, 1996 - 4:25 p.m. EDT

You may want to dust off your dancing shoes this Saturday night. There'll be dancing and partying in downtown Raleigh to raise money for victims of the tornado that struck Zebulon last March.

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. at The Grove, 224 South Blount Street in the City Market area where seven bands will perform. There will also be a live art auction and other activities designed to raise funds. The event is the product of volunteer efforts from a group of Triangle area young people.

The cost of admission is $5.00 and all proceeds will go to the Town of Zebulon Tornado Victim Disaster Relief Fund.
