There's More Going On Than Golf at U.S. Women's Open

SOUTHERN PINES — U.S. Women's Open and Breast Cancer

The U.S. Women's Open is in full swing in Southern Pines, but golf isn't the only game in town.

The championship tournament is expected to raise thousands of dollars for breast cancer research, and the women's center at the golf course is filled with health-related booths.

There are mammogram demonstrations, breast cancer screenings and various other women's health issues being addressed.

The tournament is trying to raise awareness and money, and has already raised over $400,000 to fight breast cancer.

The center will be open through Sunday at 2 p.m. for anyone who'd like to attend.
