RALEIGH — May 22, 1996 - 12:31 p.m. EDT
AnN.C. Statestudent (pictured at left, center, with bus driver and an unidentified witness) was injured Wednesday morning when her leg got caught under a university bus as it was pulling away from a stop.
The injury occurred at King Court and Gorman Street near the State campus. Tammy Taylor (pictured at right), a witness to the incident, told WRAL-TV5 News reporterTerri Grucawhat happened.

At noon, the woman was being treated at Wake Medical Center, and officials said her injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Her name and condition were not immediately available.
