RALEIGH — TheCarolina Cobrasmay have only won three games, but after one season, the team has become a hit with the fans.

More than 13,000 fans fill the Entertainment and Sports Arena at every home game. With ticket prices starting at $10, the games can be a family affair.

"It's fast-paced, no dead time. There is always something going on," says Cobras fan Billy Hester. "It's entertaining for the whole family."

Arena Football is new to many of the fans, but it is catching on fast. Kurt Benrud has season tickets and says the game can be very entertaining.

"It's a lot of excitement and high-scoring action and everyone is close by," Benrud says.

The Cobras have the second-highest attendance in Arena Football. Team officials say they are not afraid of the novelty wearing off for the fans.

"I think Raleigh really likes Arena Football and likes the Cobras," says Cobras promotions director George Wallace. "In the offseason, we are going to do our best to continue to go after them and show them what we are."

The Cobras will play their final home game of the season July 21 against the Tampa Bay Storm.
