There is no Double-A team for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, so the Triple-A Bulls are just loaded with talent.
"I've played on quite a few AAA teams," says outfielder, Greg Blosser, "and I think this is the most experienced team I've been on. I think the quality of play here is going to be tremendous."
The Bulls showed that in the Devil Rays exhibition game. They have some pop at the plate, and they are experienced. Eight players got some time in the majors last year, and many of the Bulls will make the trip to Tampa this season.
Tampa Bay General Manager, Chuck Lamar, says that many of the Bulls will become Devil Rays after the first week with the team. That's good news for those Bulls who were so close to making the big squad this year.
"You have to motivate yourself," says outfielder, Brooks Kieschnick.
It's hard to predict how well the Bulls will do in the International League. Who knows how long this squad will stick together?
