Police say it happened in the newly annexed section of town off Cliffdale and Rim Roads.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Vandals hit two Fayetteville neighborhoods overnight, shooting out the windows of at least 40 cars.

All the damage was done with a BB gun, but nothing was taken from the cars, according to investigators.

Anyone with information leading to an arrest is asked to call police.
