RALEIGH — Many families will be a little warmer this winter, thanks to you!
WRAL's "Coats for the Children" campaign raised $67,411 Friday.
The money will be used to make sure children have clean, warm coats, hats, and scarves to wear this winter.
By the end of the month, the station anticipates receiving at least $20,000 more from Celebration of Lights. That money will buy winter clothing for families in eastern North Carolina.
You can stillcontribute online, or by dropping off clean coats in good condition atlocal Alltel or Jiffy Lube locations.
The campaign ends December 31.
