FUQUAY-VARINA — Fuquay-Varina's mayor is fighting to keep his job.
Mayor Bob Barker has won a temporary restraining order. The ruling prevents John Ellis from being declared the new mayor.
Barker lost by 16 votes to Ellis in the November vote.
However, Barker says 42 ballots were cast by ineligible voters who no longer live in the town.
The Wake County Board of Elections could order a recount or a new election. -->
