CARY — Things were really cooking in Cary Thursday night as one of the world's hottest chefs came to town. Emeril Lagasse of theFood Networksigned his latest holiday cookbook at Barnes and Noble.
Lagasse's fans packed the store to get his autograph. A line of people even wrapped around the building.
Lagasse says there is something for everyone in the new book.
"It's not intimidating, so it entices people to cook. There's great color photographs of the faces and places of Louisiana. And there's a lot of stories. So if they don't cook they can read the stories and look at the pictures and be happy with that as well."
Lagasse's new book, "Every Day's a Party," includes everything from snacks for bowl games to finger foods for Christmas parties.
