DURHAM — Durham residents celebrated the 30th anniversary of Earth Day on Saturday.
Booths were set up at the old Durham Bulls Athletic Park to give residents a better understanding on how they can keep the earth clean.
Organizers say they wanted to give helpful information and make it fun for everyone.
"Earth day is a great time to celebrate the environmental accomplishments of our community and to bring our community together." says organizer Aaryn Kay.
Kids made art out of old wiring and saw a puppet show. The kids also saw the latest in pollution-free transportation, electric cars. -->
