WAKE FOREST — Parents of a missing Wake County boy are asking people to join hand-in-hand in the search for his whereabouts.
Nine-year-old C.J. Wilkerson has been missing for over a month. His accused kidnapper, Derrick Glover is still being held in the Wake County jail, but refuses to talk to police about the case.
Next Tuesday at 3 p.m., Wilkerson's parents are asking the public to participate in a "love chain." Starting at the Brights Funeral Home on South Main Street people will be asked to form a human chain to promote awareness about the abduction.
