Durham Neighborhood Concerned for Personal Safety

With cozy bungalows and historic homes, Durham's Trinity Park is a neighborhood with an old-fashioned sense of community, but two recent sexual assaults have put residents on guard.(WRAL-TV5 News)
DURHAM — A Durham neighborhood does not want to live in fear of a suspected rapist.

Trinity Park residents will meet with police and rape counselors 2 p.m. Sunday at George Watts Elementary School to talk about safety issues and protection against rape.

The meeting comes about two weeks after tworeported sexual assaultsin the area.

Police have asketch of a suspect, but so far, they have made made no arrests.
