Earlier this month, Dorthia Bynum pleaded guilty to second degree murder. She also agreed to testify against two co-defendants, charged in the rape and murder of the 10-year-old Burlington girl.
In exchange, the 18-year-old Bynum escaped the death penalty.
Now she refuses to testify against the other two suspects.
The murder trial of Bynum's boyfriend, Harold Jones, and his nephew Joseph Jones, is scheduled to begin Monday.
Police say Bynum, her former boyfriend Harold Jones and his nephew Joseph Jones, kidnapped, raped and murdered the girl in October 1998 in Burlington.
The trial was moved to Fayetteville because of pretrial publicity.
