Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One person was reported critically injured Wednesday night and Raeford Road was closed after a pickup truck apparently went out of control, snapped a utility pole and crashed into cars at a car dealership, police said.

The truck apparently was speeding on Raeford Road before the crash, city police said.

One man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in critical condition, officers reported. No other information about the man was available.

The parked cars were at the Bleecker Superstore used-car dealership.
