DURHAM — A scary scene at Durham's Northgate Mall Wednesday played right out of a movie.
Durham police were tracking a man wanted for several robberies at Duke University when a shooting erupted in the food court around lunchtime.
The suspect was struggling with police when he was shot in the neck, apparently with his own gun.
He is listed in critical condition at Duke Medical Center.
