Fire Hits 2 Nash County Businesses
Crews called out at 3 a.m. to battle flames in buildings on N.C. 301.
Posted — UpdatedSHARPSBURG, N.C. — Fire early Sunday damaged two businesses in Nash County. Officials were unable to immediately determine the cause.
Bynum's Drum Sales and Service, which handles plastic storage drums, and Mann's Auto Repair Service were involved.
The incident closed northbound N.C. 301 for several hours as apparatus surrounded the scene.
The broke out about 3 a.m., the Nash County communications center said.
Officials reported no injuries.
