FAYETTEVILLE — You may think your child is safe in their car seat, but experts say there are still dangers. Officials at a child safety seat clinic in Fayetteville found many problems Thursday.

"The biggest single thing is that the seats are too loose in the vehicle," said Joe Parker with the Governor's Highway Safety Program. "They move from side to side, or backward and forward."

It is best to get your child safety seat checked professionally. In the meantime, experts suggest using a piece of a swimming noodle to help hold the seat at the recommended 45-degree angle.
