RALEIGH — The North Carolina State Fair is just around the corner but until that autumn festival opens, you can catch some rides and fair food today.
St. Raphaels Church on Falls of the Neuse Road is holding it's 34th annual fair this weekend.
They've got all the traditional stuff everyone enjoys -- rides for the kids and kids at heart -- an arcade, bingo and the ever popular funnel cake.
Admission is free but you're asked to donate a can of food, which benefits the N.C. Food Bank.
The fair is open today from noon to 7 p.m.
