Durham Tech President Announces Retirement

Phail Wynn Jr. will step down from his post after the fall semester.

DURHAM, N.C. — The president of Durham Technical Community College is retiring.

Phail Wynn Jr. will step down from his post after the fall semester. He has served as Durham Tech's president for 27 years.

Wynn will turn 60 on Sept. 8, one year after the college dedicated a new student services center in his name.

There is no word on Wynn's replacement.
