RALEIGH — Rex Healthcareis moving forward with plans to expand itsoutpatient surgical care.
Rex plans to spend more than $17 million to build six outpatient operating rooms.
Four of them will be at the Rex Wellness Center in Cary, and two will be at the main campus in Raleigh.
Cary and Raleigh must still agree to building permits.
The additions are expected to be done by the end of 2001.
