STANFIELD — Residents in one Carolina town are being told not to drink the water.
Officials in Stanfield, in Stanly County say E. coli bacteria is in the wells and groundwater supply.
The mayor says it's because the wells are poorly sealed.The town has received $1.3 million from the state to go online with the Stanly County water system.
