Durham, Chapel Hill Restaurants Suffer Fire Damage

DURHAM — Cleanup continues at two Triangle restaurants after fires Saturday night.

In Durham, the front half of the Arby's restaurant located on North Roxboro Road in the Eno Point Shopping Center was destroyed by fire.

Investigators say flames broke out around 10 p.m. Saturday.

Workers say they smelled smoke coming from the front sign. Within minutes, the front of the building and roof were in flames.

Customers who were inside were evacuated. No one was injured.

No word yet on a damage estimate, or when the business will be able to reopen.

A Mexican restaurant in Chapel Hill is closed after an early morning fire.

The fire broke out at Besa Mi Burro on West Franklin Street around 6:00 a.m. Sunday.
