PSNC Files Request To Cut Gas Prices

RALEIGH, N.C. — PSNC Energy

has asked the

North Carolina Utilities Commission

for approval to cut its natural gas prices for the second month in a row.

The energy company is proposing to reduce residential customers' bill from an average of $153 to $133 a month, effective Feb. 1

The Utilities Commission will meet Jan. 30 to decide whether to accept PSNC's request.
