CARTHAGE — Two men are behind bars this morning charged with the first degree murder of a teenage boy.

Moore County deputies say the two men shot 19-year-old Calvin Steele once, following an argument at Cameron Elementary School.

Officials say the young men were at the school to play basketball when the argument started, around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Ronald Barrett of Southern Pines and Christopher Barrett of West End have been charged with killing Steele and are being held without bond.

Steele was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. andJulie Moos
