RALEIGH — Now that the weather is nice, walkers and runners have returned to Shelley Lake; police are warning them to be careful.
Officers are investigating a report that a man exposed himself to a jogger on the park trail earlier this week.
Police started foot patrols in the park to ensure security and try to catch the suspect. But so far, they have made no arrests.
The description of the man is similar to the rape suspect who attacked women last year in the park. That suspect has not yet been caught.
