N.C. Gets Low Grades In Emergency Health Care

RALEIGH, N.C. — It's a grade most students wouldn't want to take home to Mom and Dad. North Carolina received a C- in emergency health care.

The American College of Emergency Care ranked all 50 states, and North Carolina came in 36th. The highest grade was a B+ in public health and injury prevention. The lowest was an F in how the state handles medical liability.
