ROANOKE RAPIDS — A 26-year-old Wilson man is in jail, charged in the kidnapping of a little girl in Halifax County. Shannon Dublin is charged with three counts of second degree kidnapping, three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, one count of robbery, and one count of larceny of a firearm.
On August 5, three men posing as utility workers robbed a woman and kidnapped her granddaughter.
Dublin was arrested last Friday, and remains jailed on $250,000 bond. His next court date is set for September 2.
Investigators are looking for at least two other suspects in connection with this case.
