HOLLY SPRINGS — The highway patrol is investigating a late night accident in Wake County. Just before 11:00 Thursday night, a Jeep Laredo rammed into a mini-van on Holly Springs Road.
Investigators say the Jeep's driver, a 17-year-old female was headed north. She crossed the center line and slammed into the second vehicle. The Jeep's driver broke her leg in the crash. The van's driver was taken by life-flight to Wake Med, but, her injuries were not serious.
